Para-Harpoons Every survival kit or Bug Out Bag needs one of these...10.25" OAL, bead blast finish, each wrapped with about 6-7' of paracord on the handle. The B.O.B. (bug out bag) tubes are Airtight and waterproof ABS pipes with a little subtle black camo pattern, wrapped with 15' of extra paracord. I've also wrapped about 30' of blaze orange duct tape for tent repairs or marking trails, etc... (I used threaded endcaps instead of press fit, so they don't get impossibly wedged and/or pop off with pressure changes from altitude, etc...) There's little rubber corks on the tips to prevent blunting inside the tubes, or stabbing yourself when you shake the harpoon from the container. There's also about an extra 1" within the tube for storing something else...like filter material if you were going to use the tube itself as an emergency draw straw (drinking tube), or you could store fishing line and hooks in a small Ziploc bag, etc...
